We are living in a time when it is difficult to discern what is true and what isn’t. What is right and what is wrong. What actually happened and what didn’t. So many times in discussion I hear: “That isn’t a source that I would trust”. So many people are okay not knowing what the truth is when two claims are made and it is impossible that both are true. Often these two opposing claims can be a matter of life and death if you chose the wrong one. People have been ‘taught’ not to learn. They just accept what ‘everybody knows’ in society and assume that the apparent masses could never be wrong.
Republican vs Democrat
One of the largest and strongest divides is by political affiliation. Depending on where you live and were raised, many are assigned at birth a political party, a religion and many moral and ethical stands that come with them. You may be born into a political party of your parents and then gravitate to another one when you reach the stage of ‘my parents know nothing’ and begin trusting your peer group more. You are deemed a good person if you simply follow the crowd you hang out with and don’t question things that don’t make sense.
This mindless following is exposed with the phrase “any blue will do”. Putting complete trust in the DNC to decide a candidate for you. You are told leading up to the election that “this election is too important to vote third party” and we will all be doomed if you dare to think for yourselves about a candidate. This became the absurd this election cycle when not a single voter selected the candidate for the party in the primary but instead was simply appointed to replace Biden who dropped out after the primary. The existence of only two major parties makes this much easier to fall victim to. We are convinced that the other party and their followers are just not reasonable and nothing they say can be believed. People are told that they are less than human in their thinking. They are told that discussion with someone from the other party is pointless and should be avoided. This is achieved by telling lies about the other party and hiding lies about your own party. What one friend saw on the news gets repeated to another friend as a fun fact about the other side.
MAGA
Recently the phrase Make America Great Again was used by the Trump campaign. Because Trump is so easy to dislike and so much has been reported on liberal media to make him into a villain, this phrase is rejected because of who it is attached to. Ignoring who said it, we can all agree that Making America Great Again is a good thing. How could anyone be against that? The same goes for the more recent phrase Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) to identify the concept of fixing our broken food and health systems. America has some of the most unhealthy food in the world. High fructose corn syrup is in everything. Some people avoid it by purchasing ‘Mexican Coke’ from Costco because it has real sugars and besides being better for you, it tastes better. Additives in foods sold in America are very often toxic. RFK Jr and Cassey Means want to change the laws to make our foods healthy again. The news acting as a defender of their advertisers will claim that they don’t want you to eat certain things. That isn’t true. They want to make the things you like to eat as heathy as they are in other countries by taking out the toxins. Who wouldn’t want that (besides the manufacturers)?
Health Departments
Health Departments in blue states are still pushing Covid shots and boosters while many of the red states have banned them and are suing for the damage they have caused. How is this a R or D issue? Health should be non political. The data is clear. People on their 5th booster are still getting Covid multiple times while the unvaccinated rarely get more than their first case. The CDC database VAERS has recorded that over 90% of deaths from vaccines in all of its recorded history have come from the Covid shots. Side effects are just as bad with a range of side effects like Malaise (extreme pain), Bells Palsey, Myocarditis and others listed in the vaccine insert that comes with the product. This is not to say that no one in the world could realize a benefit from having the shot, but that many millions of people will be worse off if they do. If you try to have a conversation about any of this on social media, you will be blocked, banned or flagged with fact checks that don’t prove their point, are not experts in the topic and don’t allow discussion. As a society, we are not allowed to have this discussion so we can collectively come to a conclusion about what is true. Certain entities (mainstream news and our government agencies) have decided that they know best and no one else should have a voice on the topic. This was proven in court with Missouri vs Biden and showed after many appeals and escalation to higher courts that these entities knew at the time that they were silencing people who were speaking the truth. One of these people was Dr. Jay Bhattacharya who also drafted the Great Barrington Declaration that was signed by over 940,000 medical professionals.
Call it Russian
One of the methods of silencing someone is to call them a Russian Operative. It doesn’t have to be true, once they are labeled as Russian, it is too late, they now don’t have any credibility in the eyes and ears of a large portion of the nation. It is almost a form of racism or extreme bias to assume that someone is less than human if they carry one of these labels. Russian or Democrat, Republican or anti-vaxxer have all been used to avoid conversations that would allow the truth to be revealed. This is also evident in Nation favoring. “My country is good and can do no wrong” protects our identities from being conceived as evil. If there is any evil, it must be those [insert label here] people that can be blamed for it. While I believe there is a lot of good in my country (USA), its constant wars are about as evil as it can get. There are massive corporations that sell wars to the people (and the government) so they can make their profits in both destruction and the rebuilding of countries that it destroyed. Extracting resources in the process makes profits that put it on just about every stockbrokers wish list.
Who said it?
In this portrayal of good and evil based on labels, you have people that discount ideas just because of who they think said it. Tell someone that Trump wants to make America healthy or great and they will reject any aspect of the idea. Instead of agreeing to the concept and contributing to the concept, they will oppose ways to better their own lives.
If the health department in your state tells you to accept a medical procedure, should you blindly accept it as wisdom because of who said it? If Trump assembles a team to make our lives healthier by adding RFK Jr, Cassey Means, Tulsi Gabbard and Jay Bhattacharya, should you oppose them because Trump said it or accept them since they all used to be Democrats? Maybe instead embrace the idea because it makes sense. Should you trust the mainstream media that is funded more than 50% by big pharma to give you news stories that threaten its advertisers?
We need to look at each idea for what it is, not who said it. Your worst enemy may speak the best idea ever. Don’t self sensor yourself because of who is speaking. Speak out against bad ideas and the people you despise will be shown for who they are, but do it because the idea was bad, not the source of the idea.
